Drowning in this quiet sound.

I’m stuck in a song without a beat,

Walking on glass with bare feet.

Love notes got lost in the noise,

A broken record with no voice.

Trying to glue back what fell apart,

But every piece just cuts my heart.

I’m picking up what’s shattered,

But the pieces never mattered.

Lost between the lines we drew,

A puzzle missing every clue.

I’m tangled in the words unsaid,

but in my mind, i feel so dead

Fixing cracks but still I drown,

In a love that is lost and found.

A picture that can’t be framed,

Love’s a fire I couldn’t tame.

Chasing ghosts of what we had,

Smiling faces, feeling sad.

You left me hanging on a thread,

Stitched up lies inside my head.

Caught in the static of our tune,

Singing solos to the moon.
