Consumed the sacrifice

While Baal's 450 prophets prayed all day and evening for their god to show up

The challenge of whose deity was real

Jehovah surpassed it all

The Lord Almighty showed up

Displaying his power

God of all creation poured down rain

After the three and a half years drought

Many believed and turned from their prior belief in Baal to Yahweh

This is just one instance of displaying power although there are many more

Throughout scripture

You can take it or leave it

But at least give it a food for thought

The Lord Almighty showed up

Displaying his power

Just like he does to this day

in the experiences of

his Spirit filled believers today
