Lyrics
👽: Do you believe in the Zodiac? In the influence of the stars?
Belief isn’t even the point. The constellations are there, ancient, luminous markers in the sky. Whether one believes or not, their presence has shaped human culture for millennia. Think about it: the Moon, small and close, moves the oceans. Imagine, then, what kind of influence might come from the immense, burning suns scattered across the cosmos, even if light-years away.
The Zodiac wasn’t originally used for fortune-telling or entertainment. In the ancient world, it was a celestial calendar, a sacred clock. It helped people determine when to sow, when to harvest, when to migrate, when to marry. Farmers, priests, and kings all looked upward for guidance, believing the heavens mirrored the divine order of life below.
Each sign, each constellation, reflected a phase of human experience, a station of the soul on its earthly path.
Take Spica, the bright star in Virgo’s hand, it once signaled harvest time in Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greece. Its light meant food, fertility, and survival. Or consider Polaris, the North Star, not only a navigational anchor, but a celestial axis around which the heavens appear to spin. Over the year, Polaris marks the center of a cosmic wheel, and that wheel, traced by the circumpolar stars, forms the shape of the ancient swastika.
Today, that symbol is stained by history, but its original meaning was cosmic: it represented the eternal turning of the sky, the rhythm of life, the dance of the four seasons, the sacred spiral of becoming. It was never about destruction, it was a symbol of time, harmony, and movement.
Zodiac is a return to this vision, not of superstition, but of cosmic connection. It reminds us that we are part of something greater, that we walk beneath ancient patterns. And even if we’ve forgotten how to read the sky, the sky still reads us.
