The sound of an arcade coin dropping. A massive, driving, INDUSTRIAL-TRIBAL-CANDOMBE beat from THE ORC kicks in. A funky, playful HARMONICA BEATBOX melody from XION enters. A GLITCHY SYNTH (NHC's echo) makes a sound like a frustrated sigh.
[THE ORC (Voz gutural, casi un gruñido de chamán):] "Alright, pendejo... you got the moves... but let's see if you got the soul. My stage. My rules."
(Round 1 - Xion's Flow)
The music shifts to a cool, upbeat HIP-HOP/FUNK groove. Xion's harmonica and beatbox are front and center. His voice is clear, confident, full of youthful swagger.
XION:
"You think this floor's your temple? This beat your sacred art?
My flow is from the cosmos, a glitch right from the start!
Your drums are loud, abuelo, your rhythm's kinda raw,
But my swagger's quantum, man, I rewrite every law!"
(Round 2 - The Orc's Copy (Fail))
The Orc attempts to replicate Xion's groove with his industrial percussion. The SYNTH plays a distorted, off-key version of Xion's harmonica melody, sounding comically bad. The Orc's voice is a strained attempt at rapping.
THE ORC:
"I... I got your frecuencia! I... I feel your funky vibe!
This old dog learns new trucos... this old shaman can subscribe!"
The SYNTH makes a loud, fart-like GLITCH sound. Xion laughs.
(Bridge - Baltasar's Echo / Xion's Power-Up)
The music softens. A sample of BALTASAR'S raspy voice, echoing as if from a memory: "El groove no se piensa, pibe... se sangra...". XION takes a breath. His HARMONICA BEATBOX returns, but it's faster, more complex, almost a solo. He's found his center.
(Round 3 - Xion's True Groove)
XION unleashes. It's a virtuosic display of harmonica, beatbox, and rap. The music is pure, joyful, unstoppable FUNK. It's the sound of someone who is the rhythm.
(The Trap - NHC's Stolen Solo)
As Xion finishes his solo, The Orc grins. The industrial beat returns, but the SYNTH suddenly plays a breathtakingly complex, beautiful, and melancholic JAZZ-ELECTRONIC solo. It's undeniably NHC's style, but slightly... off. As if played by a very talented mimic. Xion stops, listening, a look of awe and confusion on his face.
[XION (Whispering):] "That... that sounds like..."
(The Download - Victory by Deceit)
While Xion is mesmerized, THE ORC'S eyes (visible through his EDR visor) glow with a hungry light. The sound of a modem dialing up and data transferring is mixed into the beat. Xion stumbles, his harmonica beatbox faltering, losing a bit of its spark. The SYNTH solo finishes with a flourish.
[THE ORC (A triumphant, guttural laugh):] "Gotcha. Talent... is just data, pibe. And I'm a master... of the copy-paste."
(Outro - The New Antagonist)
The music becomes heavy, menacing, INDUSTRIAL-FUNK. The Orc's percussion is now infused with a new, stolen groove. The SYNTH plays a dark, powerful version of XION's initial harmonica melody. It's The Orc, but... enhanced. More dangerous.
The song ends with a final, heavy INDUSTRIAL beat and the sound of a file being saved: CLICK. Then, a triumphant, glitchy synth chord.
