前阵子写了一首闽南嘻哈〈铁杵磨成针〉，
结果唱出来更像闽南 R&B。
于是我决定再来一首，认真去体会
到底“嘻哈”是啥物？这首〈嘻哈是啥物〉，
就是我在寻找答案的过程。写到最后才发现，嘻哈不是押韵、不是炫技，而是敢讲真话。

A while ago, I wrote a Hokkien hip-hop song “Turning an Iron Bar into a Needle”,
but it turned out sounding more like Hokkien R&B. So I decided to make another one ， to really explore: what is hip-hop, actually? This song, “What Is Hip-Hop?”, is my journey to find that answer. In the end, I realised , hip-hop isn’t about rhymes or showing off; it’s about speaking your truth.

嘻哈毋是唱，是讲个 rhythm，

(No need to hit perfect notes , let your lips swing naturally,)
咬字若刀，个性若火，气势亲像风。

嘻哈毋是 act cool，是讲出真心话。
