Lord, I come to You today

You are my Creator, my life and hope's true source

My whole life is in Your hands

With all my heart, I thank You

For my life, for the faith that sustains me

For each new day, for the food on my table

For all the blessings I receive, my thanks I give to You

I know I am imperfect

Forgive my lies, my angry thoughts, my cold indifference

All the times I chose the wrong path

Cleanse my heart, grant me a brand new start

For the hardships that teach me

For the joys that warm my heart

For every gift, both great and small, I say thank You

Guide my steps and light my way, when I am led astray

Give me strength to stand against temptation's sway
