Lyrics
What If We Redefined Money?
If the game is rigged, change the rules.
They hoard the paper, the digits, the beeps in the system—but what if money wasn’t what they said it was? What if we flipped the table and said, “Nah, we’re not playing your game anymore.”
They can keep the banks, the stock markets, the offshore accounts. Let them sit on their digital gold while we trade in something real.
So, what do we already have plenty of?
1️⃣ Time
Money was always meant to be a stand-in for time and effort. If they’ve taken all the tokens, we stop playing for tokens and start valuing the minutes, the hours, the work itself. A system where effort is the currency—not some numbers on a screen controlled by people who don’t know how to grow a tomato or fix a broken pipe.
2️⃣ Trust & Reputation
The future economy isn’t built on credit scores or dollar signs—it’s built on who you know, who vouches for you, and what value you bring to the people around you. In the collapse, reputation is everything. If your name means something, you’ll never go hungry.
3️⃣ Skills & Knowledge
They can’t hoard intelligence. They can’t buy self-reliance. Knowing how to build, how to heal, how to solve problems—that’s wealth they can’t lock in a vault. When the old world dies, the people who know how to make things work will be the new kings and queens.
4️⃣ Access & Community
Money doesn’t mean survival—connections do. If you have people you trust, a network of barter, trade, and support, you don’t need paper to live well. A shared meal, a helping hand, a ride when you need one—real value exists in the space between people, not in numbers on a ledger.
5️⃣ Creativity & Ideas
Innovation has always been more valuable than gold. When systems break, the ones who think differently, who see opportunities where others see crisis—they build the new world. Ideas shape reality more than cash ever could.
So What Do We Do?
They’ll drain the system dry and expect us to beg them to fix it. Don’t. Instead, change the currency. Shift the power. Make what’s valuable something they can’t buy, can’t steal, and can’t take away.
Let them sit on their hoards of digital nothingness.
We’ll be out here, trading in time, trust, skills, community, and creation—building something real. 🚀🔥
